Everything you ever wanted to know about the economics of an endodontic practice

Dr. Ron House obtained a B.A. in Economics in 1962 from Mount Allison University, an M.A. in Economics in 1963 from the University of Alberta and a Ph.D. in Economics from the London School of Economics in 1966.  Dr. House is President and founder of the consulting firm of R.K. House & Associates Ltd. A substantial part of Dr House’s practice has been the ongoing provision of services to the organized professions since 1972, primarily in dentistry, and more recently in medicine and veterinary medicine. These activities include surveys of the professions, development of fee guides, representations to government, and negotiations with government for government-tariffed services.  Dr House has been actively involved in regulatory matters concerning all modes of transport – rail, air, truck; energy; natural gas and electricity; and telecommunications. He has acted on behalf of applicants, Boards, Commissions, interveners, a variety of government Departments and Ministries, and standing committees of provincial legislatures and the House of Commons. In addition, Dr House has been a faculty member with the Department of Economics at York University since 1965 and has held positions with Johns Hopkins and McMaster University. R.K. House & Associates provides daily consulting services to clients in dentistry, medicine and veterinary medicine. These are focused on the collection of financial and economic information, the preparation of fee guides, and government negotiations.
